AI Engineer

Computer Vision & Generative AI

About Betlyzer

Betlyzer is an early-stage technology company developing AI-powered software that automates digital marketing and content creation for the sports iGaming industry.

We work across computer vision, generative AI, and video generation to build products that can create and distribute social media content at scale.

Our first product, Betlyzer Creator, combines realistic AI avatars, generative models, and sports content to automatically produce social media videos and generate qualified traffic for operators and companies across the industry.

Betlyzer was founded in partnership with Hub Affiliations, an established iGaming affiliate marketing company that contributes commercial expertise, market knowledge, and an established network of industry partners.

Within its first months, Betlyzer received two nominations at the SBC Affiliate Leaders Awards 2026 and was shortlisted in two categories at the EGR Italy Awards 2026:

  • SBC Affiliate Leaders Awards 2026 — Affiliate Technology of the Year
  • SBC Affiliate Leaders Awards 2026 — Affiliate Management Platform of the Year
  • EGR Italy Awards 2026 — AI Development of the Year
  • EGR Italy Awards 2026 — Sports Betting Innovation

The Role

We are looking for an AI Engineer with a strong interest in computer vision, generative models, and multimodal systems.

You will join a small, fast-moving team and work directly with Betlyzer's founders and developers to build and evolve our products.

This is a broad, highly operational role. You will contribute across experimentation, prototyping, integration, deployment, and production optimization instead of focusing on one model or isolated research activity.

You will have direct input into technical decisions, product architecture, and the company's future direction.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop features using computer vision, generative AI, and multimodal systems.
  • Experiment with, evaluate, adapt, and integrate open-source and open-weight models, working directly with model architectures, weights, configurations, and inference pipelines rather than relying exclusively on API calls.
  • Work with text-to-video, image-to-video, image generation, and AI video-editing models.
  • Develop automated video-generation and processing pipelines, including segmentation, object tracking, compositing, and synchronization between AI avatars and sports footage.
  • Integrate AI models into Betlyzer's backend and products, taking them from experimentation to real-world use by customers.
  • Build production machine-learning systems across the full lifecycle, including prototyping, inference, orchestration, deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
  • Rapidly create prototypes and proofs of concept, then turn successful experiments into reliable, scalable services.
  • Design and manage cloud infrastructure, with a focus on AWS and GPU workloads, while optimizing processing time, memory consumption, GPU utilization, infrastructure cost, and scalability.
  • Continuously monitor, test, and improve the quality, stability, and performance of AI pipelines.
  • Contribute to architecture, model selection, and technology decisions, and support backend development, DevOps, MLOps, and software integration when required.

Qualifications

Above all, we value talent, passion for artificial intelligence, and strong technical curiosity.

Extensive professional experience is not required, but you should have practical foundations and the ability to learn quickly.

  • Good knowledge of Python.
  • Understanding of the fundamental principles of machine learning and deep learning.
  • Foundational computer vision experience gained through personal projects, university work, or open-source contributions.
  • Familiarity with PyTorch and the Hugging Face ecosystem.
  • Interest in generative models, particularly for image and video generation.
  • Familiarity with Git, Docker, Linux, and API integrations.
  • Foundational knowledge of cloud infrastructure, primarily AWS.
  • Ability to read, understand, and adapt technical repositories, documentation, and research papers.
  • An experimental mindset and the ability to develop prototypes quickly.
  • Interest in open-source models, open-weight models, and emerging AI technologies.
  • Ability to solve problems independently while asking for support when necessary.
  • A practical mindset and willingness to work across a small, dynamic team where priorities and technical solutions may evolve quickly.

A university degree is not required. We place greater value on what you have built: personal projects, open-source contributions, GitHub repositories, university projects or research, experimentation skills, and the quality of your technical reasoning.

University students are welcome to apply. You may begin part time alongside your studies and increase your involvement as both you and the project grow.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • A passion for soccer, basketball, or tennis, plus the ability to interpret actions and events within sports highlights.
  • Interest in sports computer vision, including player and ball tracking and the detection of goals, assists, baskets, and points.
  • Experience with generative video models such as LTX and Wan.
  • Knowledge of Vision Transformers and multimodal architectures.
  • Experience with segmentation, object tracking, pose estimation, or optical flow.
  • Familiarity with SAM, SAM 2, or equivalent frameworks.
  • Experience with GPU workflows and inference optimization.
  • Experience with FastAPI or another Python backend framework.
  • Knowledge of AWS services such as S3, ECR, ECS, Fargate, Lambda, SQS, or SageMaker.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerized infrastructure.
  • Contributions to open-source projects.
  • Interest in content creation, social media, digital marketing, or the iGaming industry.

What We Offer

  • A central role in developing an AI product from its earliest stages.
  • The opportunity to work on real-world applications of computer vision, video generation, and production machine learning.
  • Direct involvement in technical, architectural, and product decisions.
  • Daily collaboration with the founders and development team.
  • Freedom to experiment with new technologies, models, and architectures.
  • A small, fast-moving environment with minimal bureaucracy.
  • Fully remote work from Gibraltar, the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Switzerland.
  • The possibility of starting part time while studying.
  • Professional growth and increasing responsibility as the company develops.
  • Commercial and operational support from Hub Affiliations, an established company in the iGaming industry.

Compensation

Compensation combines a guaranteed fixed base with uncapped performance-driven affiliate earnings.

You will have access to a dedicated Hub Affiliations dashboard to monitor your conversions and earnings, while using Betlyzer to generate traffic and convert audiences.

The main earning opportunity comes from affiliate deals with bookmakers, structured through CPA and Revenue Share models. The applicable deals and commercial terms will be discussed and agreed with you.

The fixed component applies to both full-time and part-time arrangements and is determined by commitment, skills, and experience, with an initial gross annual amount below €15,000. The performance component has no maximum cap: as the traffic, conversions, and affiliate revenue you generate grow, so does your earning potential.

Application

To apply, send your CV and LinkedIn profile to jobs@betlyzer.com. Include any relevant GitHub repositories, personal projects, portfolio work, research papers, or open-source contributions.

We care less about a specific academic background than what you have built, the problems you have worked on, and the technologies you want to explore next.
